The Company have significantly changed since 2006, when Attila Vidnyánszky became the Managing Director.  Five members from Attila Vidnyánszky’s  internationally acknowleged company -  Theatre in Beregszász (Ukraine) – joined the „old” company. Such famous actors were brought in under contract as Anna Ráckevei, György Cserhalmi, Zsolt Trill, Hobo László Földes –who is a well known Hungarian rock musician as well.

In the life of Csokonai Theatre a whole new area has been discovered by organizing festivals since 2006. With the set of programmes we intend to attract even wider strata of audience to our theatre. This course of actions help us – in spite of being a provincial theatre – to preserve our reputation among national and international theatrical events.
